What is Malnutrition

According to the World Health Organization, malnutrition refers to the imbalance in a person’s intake of nutrients which can lead to undernutrition and overweight. As an organization we are aiming to support and improve the lives of these struggling with undernutrition. Effects of undernutrition include being underweight, struggling height, low weights, and micronutrient deficiencies.

The Bowl That Keeps On Giving aims to reach children and families working with Edesia. 

 

Edesia reached over 2.7 million children in 2022.

Where we reach

Edesia had changed lives around the globe, since 2010 they have reached 62 Countries.

Cuntries include Sudan, Niger, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Chad, and more. 

The product

Edesia has created a ready-to-use "therapeutic food" called Plumpy'Nut. 

​

Plumpy'Nut is a formula based in F-100 milk powder. This formula is portable, ready-to-eat and shelf-stable. 

​

Plumpy'Nut has changed the world and is continuing to make an impact on nations struggling with malnourishment.
